What this service covers
The HAAD exam β now officially called the DOH (Department of Health Abu Dhabi) exam β is the mandatory licensing examination for nurses, doctors, pharmacists, dentists, and allied health professionals seeking to practise in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain. Delivered through Pearson VUE testing centres, the exam consists of 150 multiple-choice questions and must be passed before you can obtain your DOH professional licence.
Unlike the DHA exam which uses Prometric, the DOH/HAAD exam is booked through the TAMM portal after your qualifications are verified by DataFlow. The process involves three stages: TAMM credentialing application, DataFlow primary source verification, and Pearson VUE exam booking. Most candidates find the TAMM portal and DataFlow coordination confusing β Medisol handles the entire flow so you can focus on exam preparation.
Our service covers TAMM registration, document submission, DataFlow coordination, exam fee payment, Pearson VUE slot booking, and post-exam licence application support. We've guided over 12,000 healthcare professionals through GCC licensing since 2012, with a 98% first-attempt approval rate.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between HAAD and DOH?
HAAD (Health Authority Abu Dhabi) was renamed DOH (Department of Health Abu Dhabi) in 2017. The exam is identical β most professionals still call it the HAAD exam. The official portal is now TAMM, and exams are delivered through Pearson VUE, not Prometric.
How long does the entire process take from start to exam day?
Typically 60-90 days. TAMM PQR review takes 10-15 working days, DataFlow verification takes 30-45 working days, and exam slots are usually available within 2-4 weeks after payment. If documents are ready and attested, the process is faster.
Can I use a DOH/HAAD licence to work in Dubai or other emirates?
No. The DOH/HAAD licence is valid only in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain. If you want to work in Dubai, you need a separate DHA licence. If you want to work in the Northern Emirates (Sharjah, Ajman, RAK, UAQ, Fujairah), you need a separate MOH UAE licence.
What happens if I fail the DOH/HAAD exam?
You can retake the exam, but you have a maximum of 3 attempts shared across DHA, DOH, and MOH UAE exams. If you fail all 3 attempts, you must wait 12 months before reapplying. Medisol offers exam preparation coaching to improve your chances on the first attempt.
Do I need to complete DataFlow before applying on TAMM?
You can submit your TAMM application first, but the exam payment option will not unlock until your DataFlow report is approved and uploaded to TAMM. Most candidates start both processes in parallel to save time. Medisol coordinates both simultaneously.
How much does the DOH/HAAD exam cost, and what does Medisol charge?
The official DOH exam fee is approximately AED 1,050 (varies slightly by profession). DataFlow costs around AED 800-900. Pearson VUE slot booking is included in the exam fee. Medisol's service fee covers TAMM application, DataFlow coordination, and exam booking support β contact us on WhatsApp for current pricing and package details.
