What this service covers
The MOH (Ministry of Health and Prevention) exam is the licensing examination for nurses, doctors, pharmacists, dentists, and allied health professionals who want to practise in the UAE's northern emirates: Sharjah, Ajman, Fujairah, Ras Al Khaimah, and Umm Al Quwain. Unlike DHA (Dubai only) or DOH (Abu Dhabi only), the MOH licence covers five emirates, making it the most geographically flexible option for healthcare professionals from India and other countries.
The exam is a computer-based test (CBT) conducted through Prometric testing centres worldwide. It consists of 150 multiple-choice questions, with 3 hours to complete. There is no oral component. You have a maximum of three attempts (cancelled or no-show appointments count as attempts).
Medisol helps you navigate the entire MOH exam booking process—from MOHAP portal registration and DataFlow verification to scheduling your Prometric exam slot and providing targeted exam preparation support. We ensure your application is complete, your documents are in order, and you're fully prepared to pass on your first attempt.

Frequently asked questions
How long does the entire MOH licensing process take?
From application submission to receiving your eligibility letter typically takes 8–12 weeks, depending on DataFlow verification timelines. Once you have the eligibility letter, you can book your Prometric exam within days. Most candidates complete the full process in 3–4 months.
Can I work in Dubai or Abu Dhabi with a MOH licence?
No. The MOH licence covers only the five northern emirates: Sharjah, Ajman, Fujairah, Ras Al Khaimah, and Umm Al Quwain. For Dubai you need a DHA licence; for Abu Dhabi you need a DOH licence. Many professionals start with MOH and later upgrade to DHA or DOH if they relocate.
What happens if I fail the MOH exam?
You can retake the exam. You have a maximum of three attempts in total—cancelled or no-show appointments count as attempts. Medisol provides focused re-sit preparation, targeting your weak areas. Our 98% first-attempt pass rate means most candidates don't need a second try.
How much does the MOH exam cost?
The Prometric exam fee varies by profession—typically AED 1,100–1,500 (approximately ₹25,000–35,000). Additional costs include DataFlow verification (around ₹8,000–12,000), document attestation, and MOHAP application fees. Contact us on WhatsApp for a detailed cost breakdown specific to your profession.
Can I book my exam before DataFlow is complete?
No. You must complete DataFlow primary source verification and receive your MOHAP eligibility letter before you can book your Prometric exam. The eligibility letter is valid for 6 months, giving you flexibility in scheduling.
Do I need to travel to the UAE to take the exam?
No. Prometric has test centres in India (major cities including Thiruvananthapuram, Kochi, Bangalore, Mumbai, Delhi) and worldwide. You can sit the exam in your home country and travel to the UAE only after passing and receiving your job offer.
