UK healthcare registration, simplified
NMC, HCPC, GMC — complete pathway support
The UK welcomes internationally educated healthcare professionals — but the pathway is demanding. For nurses, it is OET → CBT → NMC application → OSCE. For doctors, GMC with PLAB 1 and PLAB 2. For allied health, HCPC with international application and evidence evaluation.
Medisol handles every step. We have guided nurses, radiographers, physiotherapists, biomedical scientists and doctors into the NHS and private UK hospitals. Our team knows every NMC, HCPC and GMC form — and every reason applications get rejected.

UK registration FAQs
The real answers
How long does NMC registration take?
6–12 months end-to-end: 2–3 months for OET/CBT, 3–6 months for NMC decision, and then OSCE scheduling. Fast-trackers with existing OET finish in 6 months.
Do I need UK NARIC / ENIC?
For HCPC, yes — an ECTS-style equivalence is required. For NMC, it depends on your country of qualification. We confirm this for you upfront.
Will you help with the UK visa?
We prepare your registration-related documents and support your employer's Certificate of Sponsorship. Visa submission itself must be done by you or a licensed immigration adviser.
What is the difference between NMC CBT and OSCE?
CBT (Computer Based Test) is a theory exam taken in your home country. OSCE (Objective Structured Clinical Examination) is a practical exam taken in the UK after arrival.
Can I work in the UK before OSCE?
Yes. Once your NMC application is accepted and you have an employer, you can work under a pre-registration title while preparing for OSCE.
